The Aurelia Residence

The Aurelia Residence

A sculptural entrance in a restrained palette

Location: Kensington, London Services: Concept design, 3D visualisation, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), procurement and build.

Entrance hall with curved marble staircase
Entrance hall with curved marble staircase. The curved form creates a softer architectural rhythm, balancing the straighter lines of the surrounding interior.

Design story

The entrance concept centres on a sweeping staircase, pale veined stone and a warm timber console. Panelled walls give the composition a clear architectural rhythm, while bronze-toned details bring warmth to the lighter surfaces.

The curve of the stair leads the eye towards the rooms beyond. A sculptural pendant occupies the height of the hall without closing off the view, and the console offers a quieter horizontal counterpoint. The visualisation explores how a formal entrance can feel welcoming through proportion, light and a small number of expressive pieces.

Accanto’s role

Accanto’s work on this project covered concept design, 3D visualisation, FF&E, procurement and build. The design work brought the room layouts, furniture, finishes and lighting into a coordinated direction, with procurement and build forming part of the project scope.

The images shared here are visualisations from the design process. They communicate the interior scheme; they are not presented as photographs of the completed home.
