The Viridian Evening
Belgravia, London
A green drawing room and an intimate evening library

Design story
A tall panel of dark green veined stone gives the drawing room its focal point. Green armchairs and curtains carry that colour across the room, balanced by an ivory curved sofa. The round coffee table introduces a bronze tone that reappears in the smaller tables and lighting.
The composition brings soft furniture into a formal architectural setting. Pale panelling and decorative plasterwork remain visible around the darker elements, and the curved seating creates an inviting arrangement around the central table.
The library develops a deeper evening atmosphere. Illuminated timber shelves flank the fireplace, with a low green sofa and cognac leather chair gathered around a dark stone table. Layered light, upholstery and books make this view distinct from the brighter drawing room while preserving the same family of colours.
