OVERVIEW
Grilandia is a fast-growing Mediterranean restaurant chain in London, with locations in Bayswater, Richmond, Chiswick, Grosvenor Street, and Hanover Street. We have designed six branches to date, each reflecting the brand’s ethos while enhancing operational efficiency, guest experience, and visual identity.
Design Challenge
As a successful and expanding chain, Grilandia needed:
- Consistent brand identity across all branches
- Interiors that feel welcoming, fresh, and authentic to the Mediterranean dining experience
- High operational efficiency for busy, high-volume locations
- Flexibility to adapt the design to different floorplans without losing brand coherence
Design Approach
The design focuses on creating a Mediterranean garden feel that brings warmth, freshness, and a sense of outdoor dining indoors:
- Natural materials like wood, stone, and textured finishes
- Lush greenery and plant elements to evoke Mediterranean gardens
- Warm, inviting colour palette to create comfort and visual appeal
- Consistent brand elements (logo placement, signage, colour accents) for chain-wide recognition
- Optimised layouts to ensure smooth customer flow and staff efficiency
