Oliviya Hampstead: Sustainable Materials & Design in a 60 sqm Restaurant Renovation

Nestled in the heart of Hampstead, Oliviya is a 60 sqm restaurant designed to deliver an elegant and immersive dining experience. The project was executed by our in-house contractor team and guided by a core concept: to reflect the natural beauty and quiet sophistication of its local surroundings.

Drawing from Hampstead’s leafy landscapes, the interior embraces sage green tones, layered textures, reflective surfaces, and sustainable materials. Every decision—from layout to lighting—was made to enhance flow, comfort, and emotional connection within a compact footprint.

To fulfill the brief, we maximised every centimetre:

Hidden storage
Seamless circulation
Smart zoning
Tonal ceilings and walls to remove visual breaks
Mirrors, custom joinery, and lighting to expand spatial perception

The result is a restaurant that feels open, intimate, and effortlessly practical.

Innovative Highlight: Simulated Window via LED & CNC Panels

One of the most striking innovations was our integration of custom CNC-cut panels over LED screens to simulate a natural window. This creative feature expanded the perceived space while adding architectural depth and a dynamic focal point. Aligned precisely with the digital content behind it, the CNC frame created a seamless illusion of light and landscape—blending physical materials and digital storytelling into a single immersive experience.

Warner House – Herons Sage Wallpaper

Why we chose it: Warner House’s Herons Sage Wallpaper offers a gentle, nature-inspired elegance with its graceful heron motif and soft green hue. It created a statement wall in the dining area that feels serene, refined, and deeply connected to the project's concept.

Craftsmanship & Sustainability: Printed in the UK using water-based inks, Warner House is known for its heritage-inspired designs and eco-conscious approach.

Ca' Pietra – Amina Green Porcelain Tiles

Why we chose it: Inspired by Moroccan craftsmanship, the Amina Green tile provided rhythm and pattern underfoot without overpowering the space. Its deep green hue was a perfect tonal match to our custom palette.

Durability Meets Design: The porcelain material ensures long-lasting performance in a high-traffic restaurant setting—without compromising on beauty.

Why we chose it: This bold, terrazzo-inspired tile added a punch of personality to select areas. The large moss-colored chips introduced playful texture and depth.

Why we chose it:The Scolpito Verde Gloss tile brings dimensional texture and depth with its handcrafted-style ridges and rich green tone. Its glazed, reflective surface adds light and movement—perfect for compact environments where every surface must contribute to the overall atmosphere.

Every element of Oliviya—from layout and lighting to materials and furniture—was carefully curated to create a warm, emotionally resonant space. Even in just 60 sqm, we proved that great design is about impact, not size.

The immersive restrooms, finished in deep blues with rich wallpaper, offer a delightful contrast and a layered user experience. Versatile furnishings and custom joinery support both daily function and visual flow.
